Going to the gym, men and women pursue the goal - to achieve a beautiful muscular body. This is facilitated by active training and a special diet. But not always these measures are enough for a quick result. Sometimes you have to work hard for months in the gym, and the result is barely visible. And it can't help but be frustrating.
Anastroged (EPF) is a potent and fast-acting antiestrogen, a synthetic drug designed for oral (oral) administration. In iron sports, it is used mainly in steroid courses (not before and after, namely during the cycle), used to prevent or minimize side effects such as excessive water retention, female fat accumulation, gynecomastia in men.
The basis of the drug is the active substance Anastrozole. It is an FDA (Food and Drug Administration) approved the drug. From the moment it appears on the pharmaceutical market, it has been positioned and is considered primarily as an antitumor agent.
Anastroged (EPF) and its analogues in the active substance are third-generation aromatase inhibitors. This group also includes letrozole and Vorozol products (also powerful synthetic antiestrogens). It is not a steroid hormone, therefore, it does not independently exhibit anabolic or androgenic effects only if indirectly (by feedback, when a decrease in estrogen activity leads to an increase in androgen activity).
Important: it is necessary to distinguish aromatase inhibitors like anastrozole, letrozole and vorozole from estrogen receptor blockers like clomiphene and tamoxifen. Both this and that are antiestrogens, however, they differ, firstly, by the effect, and secondly, by purpose. If we take bodybuilding, then aromatase inhibitors are auxiliary drugs for the steroid course, and estrogen receptor blockers are for post-cycle therapy: the former is used to reduce estrogenic activity and eliminate the corresponding side effects, and the latter is used to restore testosterone synthesis and prevent delayed effects.
Note: taking Anastroged (EPF) for only 1-2 weeks leads to a decrease in the level of estradiol in the blood by 50-80% from the initial level.
